    Director of Quality Enhancement, Landex

    Liz is the Director of Quality Enhancement at Landex, a collective of land based colleges and universities across the UK.  Prior to retraining in education she worked for the family Dairy, Beef and Arable farm on a lowland system, she also spend eight years in upland sheep and beef.

    An eclectic career in education has seen her work as a dyslexia specialist, head of learning support, lead study programmes in GCSEs, Access to HE and teach Agriculture from levels 1 – 6 including BTec, Technicals, FdSc and BSc. She currently undertakes peer reviews across the Landex membership with a focus on quality of education, sustainable practice and response to skills agenda.

    With Landex Liz has facilitated the greater collaboration of college and university sustainability journeys, developing the Landex Sustainability Network, an online group that shares best practice in sustainability at campus level. An arm of this work has seen the successful development of the Landex Sustainable Farm Network, comprising of 22 colleges and universities sharing ‘what works’ and collaborating on initiatives to support the sector and wider rural economy.
