    Head of Supply Chain Innovation, SAOS

    Helen Glass is Head of Supply Chain Innovation at SAOS. Helen joined SAOS in 2018 after spending two decades delivering innovation and commercialisation support to the agri food sector. Helen obtained her undergraduate and Ph.D. at Heriot Watt University followed by a decade of nutrition research activity in both aquaculture and human health fields.

    Since joining SAOS Helen had responsibility for developing the Cultivating Collaboration Network. C2Network was set up to engage agri co-ops with new thinking through engagement with academic centres and working cross sectoral to address prioritised challenges. As a result Helen now project manages the Network’s collaborative activity for green hydrogen in the rural landscape and on opportunities for down stream space technologies to improve decision making in farming.

    Helen contributes to the delivery of both supply chain and co-op focussed projects at SAOS as well as building external partnerships for collaborative opportunities.
